Plus package

Plus.

Whole-body MRI, FibroScan, advanced bloods and a consultant report. Designed for people in their 40s and 50s who want a serious read. A single morning on Harley Street, a written consultant report in five working days, and a baseline you can repeat year on year.

What is included

A serious read, in a single morning.

Comprehensive is the tier the consultants reach for when a healthy adult in their 40s or 50s asks for a real read. It is the place where whole-body MRI sits next to advanced bloods, a FibroScan and a proper cardiac stress assessment — in the same morning, read together, by the same team.

The whole-body MRI is performed on a 3T Philips system, the highest field-strength MRI in routine clinical use. Higher field strength means sharper images, finer slices and a more confident read — particularly for the brain, prostate and abdominal organs that the most-missed cancers tend to hide in.

Around the scan sit the measurements a GP cannot routinely order — 140+ advanced bloods, FibroScan for liver fibrosis and visceral fat, and an exercise ECG read by a consultant cardiologist. Everything is read together, so nothing falls between two reports.

Who books this

Who Comprehensive is for.

  • Forties and fifties

The decade when most preventable disease starts showing up on a scan before it shows up on you.

  • Family history

Cardiac, cancer or metabolic disease in a parent or sibling — you want a read that takes the question off the table.

  • A real annual

You want a proper yearly baseline, not an insurance medical — something you can repeat and compare.

  • Asymptomatic, busy

You feel well but the diary has not allowed a serious read in years. A single morning gives you back the year.

  • Founders & operators

You run something that depends on you turning up. A whole-body MRI is the cheapest insurance policy you can buy.

  • Post-perimenopause

Hormonal change, bone density, cardiovascular risk — Comprehensive reads them together, not in three separate clinics.

What is inside the morning

Six measurements, read together.

A whole-body MRI, the bloods a GP cannot order, a FibroScan, a cardiac stress read — one team, one morning, one written report.

Whole-body MRI (3T Philips)

Brain, spine, thorax, abdomen, pelvis and major vessels in one continuous, radiation-free scan — the highest field-strength MRI in routine clinical use.

FibroScan & visceral fat

A ten-minute, non-invasive read of liver stiffness, fat fraction and fibrosis markers — the panel a hepatologist would order first.

Advanced bloods (140+)

Adds hormone, tumour, micronutrient and advanced cardiac markers on top of the foundation panel — the read most NHS GPs cannot order.

Cardiac stress assessment

Exercise ECG with a consultant cardiology read — how the heart actually behaves under load, not just at rest.

Body composition (DEXA-grade)

Lean mass, fat mass and bone density — the same measurements a sports physician would take, written down so you can track them.

Consultant report in 5 days

A written, plain-English summary delivered by your consultant — sat through with you, in person or over video, before it is closed.

On the day

A single morning, start to finish.

About four hours, door to door
  1. Arrival

A host meets you at the door, walks you upstairs, and the morning begins. No reception queue, no check-in kiosk.

  2. Prep

Change in a private room, bloods drawn first, and a nurse walks you through the protocol. The order matters — bloods before MRI, MRI before lunch.

  3. Assessment

45 minutes on the MRI table, then FibroScan and the cardiac stress test in the same suite. Sound-cancelling headphones, music of your choice.

  4. Consultant review

Your lead consultant talks through the initial read over a doctor-designed lunch. The written report follows within five working days.

Side-by-side

How Comprehensive sits next to the other tiers.

Essential is the baseline read — bloods, electrics, body, GP review. Comprehensive adds the whole-body MRI, FibroScan and advanced bloods. Executive adds cardiac CT, prostate MRI and twelve months of concierge follow-up on top. The compare table on the packages page lays them out in one view.

Questions

Before you book Comprehensive.

Cannot find what you need? Email hello@check-point.health and a real person will reply the same day.

Why is whole-body MRI included by default?

Because the abdomen, the brain and the prostate are where the things you cannot feel tend to hide — and because MRI is radiation-free, so it can be repeated year on year. A whole-body MRI is the single most useful preventive scan a healthy 45-year-old can have, and Comprehensive is built around it.

Do I need this if I had bloods last year?

A standard panel covers around 30 markers. Comprehensive runs 140+ — hormone, tumour, micronutrient and advanced cardiac markers your GP cannot routinely order. The whole-body MRI and FibroScan are the parts last year's bloods could not see at all.

Should I upgrade to Executive instead?

Executive is the right read if you have a complicated history, a strong family cardiac history, or want a cardiac CT calcium score and prostate MRI in the same visit. For most people in their 40s and 50s without those flags, Comprehensive is the tier the consultants reach for.

How long does the visit take?

A single morning — about four hours, door to door. Bloods first, then the whole-body MRI, then FibroScan, then your consultant review over lunch. You leave with the initial conversation done; the written report follows within five working days.

Will I need contrast for the MRI?

Most whole-body MRI protocols at Checkpoint are non-contrast. If a specific finding warrants a contrast study, your consultant will discuss it with you before anything is given — never automatically.

What is not in Comprehensive that is in Executive?

Low-dose cardiac CT (calcium score), prostate or pelvic MRI, a tailored specialist consult, and twelve months of concierge follow-up. Each of those can also be added to Comprehensive on its own at the published add-on price.
